During the COVID-19 pandemic multiple international studies have shown that alternative medicines may be successful in treating an acute COVID-19 illness as well as lingering symptoms.

Many modalities claim to improve health conditions after infection, but in April 2021 a peer-reviewed observational study from India concluded that use of homeopathic remedies was associated with improved patient condition

Manchanda et. al, 2021 – READ

The study was conducted with 327 participants across 4 months from April to July 2020. Twenty seven homeopathic remedies were prescribed on an individualised basis. The study concluded that “Homeopathic medicines were associated with improvement in symptoms of COVID-19 cases.”

Another COVID-19 study

A case series on Homeopathic Treatment for COVID-19-Related Symptoms, conducted in Israel was published in September 2021 (Kurd et. al, 2021) which stated:

The present paper presents 5 cases of patients with moderate to severe COVID-19 infections, 2 of them hospitalized in the intensive care unit, who were successfully treated with homeopathy.

The authors concluded:

The present case series emphasizes the rapidity of response among moderate to severely ill patients to homeopathic treatment, when conventional medical options have been unable to relieve or shorten the disease. The observations described should encourage use of homeopathy in treating patients with COVID-19 during the acute phase of the disease

Heike’s experience supports the results of these studies. In own practice as a classical homeopath she treated several cases which presented symptoms of chronic fatigue, muscle soreness, ongoing sore throats, lingering coughs, headaches, anxiety or loss of taste and smell saw noticeable improvement after individualised prescription of homeopathic remedies. Remedies that are side effect free, easy to take and affordable.

The body deals with the disease, the homeopath deals with the person.
