Is your dog allergic to grass?
Grass allergies in dogs are common in spring and often appear as rashes and itching. Lumps and swelling will appear in seconds all over when the coat comes in contact with grass. During a puppies teething period they can come up with all sorts of allergic reactions.
The vet’s office is commonly where people turn to help solve these allergy-like symptoms, but be aware it is not the only option available.
Make sure it’s not parasites
The irritation may not be from allergies but could be coming from pesky blood-sucking critters. Be sure to check your dog for fleas, lice and other external parasites.
- Fleas are often found at the base of the ears and on the underbelly.
- Lice in the margins of the ears.
Did you know homeopathy can help make your pet less attractive to parasites?
Home remedy for relief
In the meantime here is a home remedy that may help provide some relief for your dog’s allergy symptoms:
- Mix together 1 cup of ordinary white vinegar in 1 litre of cold water
- Soak a face cloth or tea towel with this mixture and apply as a cold compresses to the itchy regions
Frustrated? Maybe it’s time to give homeopathy a try?
If you’ve tried everything and your dog is still suffering with allergy-like itching and rashes, then stop waiting and give homeopathy a try.
Homeopathy is a time honoured and side effect free natural treatment for allergies to behavioural issues and all things in between.
Everybody should know that homeopathy works. No drugs from the vet or behaviour training needed in my case. I wish more people would try it
